The funky, far-out psychedelic design is painted in vibrant colors that capture the blazing sun as well as the energy in the instrumental language of music. The entire guitar has elements outlined in undulating black lines.

Guitar Mania, a public art project in Cleveland, featured 10 foot high decorated fiberglass replicas of Fender Stratocaster guitars, designed and painted by celebrities and artists. The project was a collaboration between the United Way and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After the exhibition, the guitars were auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting these charities.
