Many of the electric guitars come with various switches and the knobs. As a minimum requirement, the electric guitars will have the volume knob and the tone knob. When one starts to learn to play the electric guitar he may not have any idea regarding the effective usage of the basic control knobs and will leave all the knobs in full mode and start playing. If he wants to have a diverse sound, he should either use the effects pedal or should experiment with the different tweaks of EQ in the amp.
A good guitar united with the good amp will form the fundamental foundation of the tone. But the player while playing can switch between the pickups and can also tweak the knobs of the tone and the volume for squeezing each bit of the tone out of the amp and the guitar. Thus more songs can be played on the guitar by the inspiring exposure by a player.
For riding the volume knobs to high or low drive, the following things have to be done by the player. Firstly, he has to turn the volume knob on the guitar completely. If possible, the bridge pick up has to be selected to commence the play on the guitar. Secondly, the amps had to be set on the guitar to enable it to play clean when the player softly and normally strums the guitar. On the other hand, when it is strummed hard, it will break up. Till such time of getting the sweet tone, the player has to be play around with the guitar’s amp volume.
The player can experiment two things when undergoing the above tasks. The first thing is playing the guitar dynamically and the next one is experimenting on the volume knob of the guitar.
